2014 MEMORIES JAR

So today it's New Years Eve, and 2014 is nearly here!
Around Twitter, and a little on YouTube I've seen something called a "memory jar" floating about.
It's where throughout the year, you fill this jar with little bits of paper that have memories on.
You then open it on the first day of the next year, and it just reminds you what a great year you had!
I'm definitely going to start it, I just hope I can manage to keep it up.
I'm going to put in there only good memories, movies I see at the cinema and things like that.
IF I really do manage to keep it going for the WHOLE of 2014, on January 1ST 2015, I'll make a YouTube video of me going back through my memories Jar.
I thought this be a really cute idea :)

The Melting Snowman (Lush) REVIEW

*First off, I'll start off by saying sorry I haven't posted in a while - I literally have no excuse*
Now onto the review.
I went for a little shop in lush and picked up this cutie!
He was £2.25, which isn't actually that bad.
In the shop, I thought he smelt quite nice, but once I got home and smelt him again, I actually changed my mind.
He didn't smell horrible, but it wasn't the nicest - but this is probably just me being picky.
I popped him into the bath and he melted almost completely.
His nose didn't go in though, that must have fallen off into the bag.
The chocolate didn't melt that well, but I just squished it and then it melted into the water.
Once in the bath, I feel that it smelt better.
It made the bath feel weird, literally like you've just put a bar of galaxy in your bath.
Once I soaked for a nice long time, got out and got cosy in my PJ's, I felt great.
My skin felt really really soft after.
I'd definitely recommend this adorable little product - he's an essential for the Christmas season!
Check out the full details about him on Lush's website here -

- Thanks for Reading! -

"THOR: The Dark World" review.

Well, to start off the movie, as always there is a Marvel intro.
This time, it was particularly snazzy. It was made into almost 3D and just looked really nice to the eye, be aware of that when you go and see it!
I went to see this movie in 2D.
The story throughout is great and very gripping.
I prefer this one much to the first, even though I did enjoy the original.
May I also add - Chris looked MIGHTY fine. He's such a great God.
He's like the perfect size (bulky).
The action and fight scenes were very well done and didn't last too long, yet weren't too short.
A lot of emotion was shown in this film, which I think is great as it connected with the viewer.
The tension between Loki & Thor!!!! - Need I even elaborate.
The special effects in this film was so well done! I didn't see a single fault.
I also loved how it was based in Britain.
One of the scene's in particular, toward's the end when the world's aligned, that was done so so well!
There is also a LOT of comedy in this movie, but it's done very well.
Loki's sarcastic comments, Thor's general bluntness and of course Jane Foster, she was being very funny too. When she first saw Thor & Loki, she slapped them both and it was hilarious.
Remember to look out for the Stan Lee cameo! His character's get better and better!
Also there was a cameo from another Actor - You'll all love it when you see!
Nothing in this film really get's left unanswered either - It all leave's way for a next movie, or otherwise all got tied up.
If you stay until after the movie ends, a little into the credit's a first ending plays.
If you then stay until the end of ALL of the credit's, another ending plays which FULLY ends the film.
It's a very worthwhile thing to see. (:
I hope you all enjoy the film as much as I see.
I give it a 9/10!

YORK, FRIENDS & MAZE!

Above is a day in the life video of when I went to York with some friends.
We did some funny things & just shopped and explored.
After we did our shopping in the day though, we went to York Maze for "Hallowscream".
IT WAS SO SCARY.
I went in thinking it wouldn't be that bad and it be kind of armature, but oh how I was wrong - again.
All of the staff there were dressed up and they were absolutely petrifying.
There was one guy in a clown outfit running after us with a chainsaw, I honestly could have cried.
Find out more about Hallowscream on York Maze's website.
I would recommend it if you really want to get scared for Halloween.

99 Question's No-One Ever Ask's.

Yes, why not, It's included in what you pay!

Tucked out. I can't bare to be tucked in.

Lipstick, salt spray & vanilla!

So today while I had a free at college, I went and bought some things :)
I bought all of the vanilla products from Boyes for £2 and the other products will be listed on each photo.

This is a body butter from the set, it doesn't smell amazing but it's okay.

This is the lipgloss from the set and I think this is the best thing about the whole set! It taste's like a nice vanilla and it's actually a great lip gloss. It has a good wear and doesn't just come off too quickly and it's also really shiny which make's it look great to wear.

This is the third and final item from the set and it's a bath & shower gel. This smells absolutely lush and I can't wait to use it! It won't have anything on my favourite vanilla biscuit shower gel though.

The story behind me buying this is basically, I've lost my straighteners.
I feel like I need to do at least something with my hair and I heard this was good so tadaa!
I'm going to try it tomorrow, I hope it looks half decent.
I think it was roughly £3 in Boots

This is the lipstick I got. It's shade 08.
I love this range of lipstick and after loosing my almost empty soap&glory one I felt like I needed a new one.
(I'm not good at keeping things).
I don't think it's as pink as it looks in the picture, but it's a really nice shade.
This was just under £6 in Boots.

This is a photo of me wearing the lipstick, I don't think it does it much justice though!
Everyone should go to boots and see themselves.

College

So, I started a new college on Tuesday! I've now been there for two days and all is well.
On the first day, I had a minor panic attack at the bus stop because I was just completely freaking out & couldn't handle it but once I actually got into college, all was well.
I found out I was in a tutor group with my best friend, and my timetable is pretty good too!
On Tuesdays & Wednesdays I get a lie in :3
I've had once 'taste' at the lessons I'm doing and they all look pretty good.
I've got double Philosophy tomorrow which I'm weirdly looking forward too.
That's followed by the Freshers Fayre then I can go home!
Wooo!

~Also, I'm super exited for GTA. NOT LONG NOW!~

EPISODE Z6

So I've finally uploaded another Z episode.
It was fun filming this as it contains a special guest.
The only problem is because I was on holiday we didn't have a stand for the blue-screen so we had to make shift one and it didn't turn out too well when you put a background to it.
I'm sorry.
Hope you enjoy! :)

Shopping & friends!

Today's has been a good day :)
I haven't seen some of my friends in roughly two months so I met up with two of them today in town!
It was so nice to see them again.
We did a lot of shopping, walking and talking.

We had lunch at Weatherspoons which was standard.
The chip's there are absolutely lush and are cooked to perfection but everything else is just meh.
We had a lot of laugh's though!
I also accidentally managed to flick a pea into her lemonade, oops. >_<

I also picked up some Lipton's peach tea, it's so nice!
If they sold it in more places I honestly think I'd be obsessed.
I swear I didn't buy that much but I managed to spend a bit of money, even though I'm on a very tight budget due to having a VERY small income and having to pay for college fee's.
Life sucks right now when it comes to money.

The only thing that went wrong with the day is that my tight's got a massive hole in and started to ladder!
Luckily when I went into New Look they had sale tights for £1.50 so I bought them and changed.

To finish off the day we had a Starbucks and then went out separate ways.
I hope I keep in touch with all of my friends, it sucks that we've all gone to separate college's.

I didn't actually buy this hat in the end..

Got this awesome onesie in the New Look sale for £10!

Got this at Primark for £10!

Got these cute little slippers at Primark for £3.
They're so comfy!

Thank-you for reading :)

Upcoming movie watch-list 2013 - 2015.

This is a list of all the upcoming movies that have either being I want to see.
I'm pretty sure all of them have been officially announced but If they haven't, let's just hope.

2013 (after today):
  • Thor: The Dark World
  • The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
  • The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
  • I would have anchorman 2 in this list because I love the first, but it looks so bad :(
2014:
  • Robocop
  • The LEGO Movie
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2
  • Godzilla
  • X-Men: Days Of Future Past
  • Transformers 4
  • Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
  • Fifty Shades Of Grey
  • The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1
  • The Hobbit: There and back again
  • Night at the Museum 3
2015:
  • The Penguins of Madagascar
  • Ted 2
  • The Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
  • Batman & Superman
  • Ant-Man
  • The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
  • Finding Dory

I'M SO EXITED FOR SOME OF THESE MOVIES!
I mean, X-men. OH MY *_*
The Batman and Superman also could be brilliant, but I think they're rushing the film a bit. They should do a few different movies first to build the story! Oh well though, more Henry Cavill ;)

Newquay - The house in the sea.

So, while I was staying in Fowey, Cornwall I ventured out to Newquay.
After being told it's quite like one of my home towns (Scarborough), it didn't sound massively appealing,
 but I went anyway.
(My own photo)
When we got there the shops were quite good, I think it was more the people who lived there..
When we went down to the sea front, we saw this lone house in the middle of the sea.
It looks horrifying!
I'd hate to live there, I mean, just imagine it!
There's only one way in and out, which is just that single thin bridge.
What about when it's windy!?
Also, what if the rocks beneath it's structure's give way.
I know I'm thinking all negatively but I honestly couldn't live there, it be so scary.
After looking it up on trusty Google, I found out it's actually called "The House in the Sea".
Turns out it's a rental place that you can book for a holiday.
argh.
If you'd like to know more; check here.
Thanks!

New video - Kick ass 2!

In this I go and see Kick ass 2 which was rather good, I'm not going to completely review it as it's late and I don't think I have a valid enough opinion as I think I'm being picky about it, overall it was a great film.
I also go to a weird Indian for a meal.
Please like!
Thanks :)

*update*
After reading a lot about Kick Ass 2, I'm not being picky. The high school scene's went on for too long and were just off putting. I mean, it was good to have something aside from the MAIN story, but it was just pointless.
I feel the end of the film was great, but the begging was dragged out and took a while to get going.

14/08/2013

So I'm starting this at 14:31.
Today has been kind of a crappy-day.
The weather is absolutely miserable! It's raining so much!

Most of the family went home after been here for over a week.
It's really quite now.

I was going to go down to the beach to collect some more stones to paint - oh wait, it's pouring down.
Now the plan is to go to the cinema to see Alan Partridge's film "Alpha Papa".
Should be good, the trailer looks absolutely amazing!

Yesterday sucked as well! I planned to upload a video yesterday, that I edited over a week ago.
I then go to look for it in my files on my laptop and it's nowhere to be seen.
I spent over an hour looking!
I've now located the un-edited version of it but I spent so long originally editing it that I don't know if I actually want to sit down and edit it again :(.
I may...
I don't know.

Anyway, if you'd kindly, please go and "like" my Facebook page;

Selfish parking.

These idiot's decided to park outside of our garage.
We needed to go out, but before we could we had to traipse around every house trying to find out what stupid person owns this car so they can move it!

Selfish people.

Fun in Fowey!

So for the past week or so I've been staying in Fowey.
I've done one "Day in the life" video on YouTube which was all filmed in Fowey.
I've been having a lot of fun and been doing a lot of different things.

I travailed to Wadebridge and did a 5 and a half mile bike ride to Padstow and back (in total, 11 miles).
That was killer considering we used rental bikes so the seats were really poo.
It was an enjoyable ride though because it's not hills, it's just flat.
It also doesn't have cars, it's designated for bikes!
The most annoying thing about the whole journey was when people decided to ride in big lines, taking up the whole path!
Be considerate!

I also walked into town to get some food, and then went to find somewhere to sit and eat.
I ended up on the front near the water, and it was packed.
Then a boat came into the harbour and everyone was making a fuss, then I heard people saying it was Richard Branson.
After looking closely I found out it was him and there was "Virgin" guards everywhere.
I got it all on camera and the footage can be shown in the video above! :)

I've also had a meal at "Sam's on the beach" which was okay.
It wasn't as good as it has been in the past, the service was crap but my food was okay.
However, my friend's food was disgraceful and the cooks did nothing to fix this and were just angry that we complained! Silly!

I'm going for a meal tonight at "Sam's burger place" in Fowey.
Same company, but we know the staff who work in this one a lot better so we know it'll be good.

I bought a new maxi dress in the New Look sale shop in St Astell today for £12 and I'm going to wear it tonight I think.
Such a bargain!

Anyway, going to go and enjoy the sun a bit.
I'll leave you with some picture's that I've taken over the past few days :)
Thanks

Nooris, Brighton.

This is my review on Noori's Indian Restaurant in Brighton.
(On a Wednesday).
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Well, it was a quite little restaurant down a pretty dull street, so I didn't know what to think!
When we walked in, we awkwardly got shown to our seats. The restaurant wasn't very full, there were maybe only 3 tables with people, and we didn't arrive as soon as it opened, we arrived at about 7:30PM.
Didn't have much hope at this point.
SERVICE:
The service was possibly the worst part of the night.
It was awkward to catch them and often they'd just walk past, even though barely anyone else was there to attend to.
They seemed jittery and like they didn't know what they were doing for half of the time.
I spilt a drink at one point, and they didn't offer to clean it up or even give us anything to mop a bit of it up with. We had to sit with a soggy table and a soggy napkin - no replacement napkin either.
It was also little things like when they bought over the food, they didn't tell you the plates were hot and just placed them in your hand or on the table with no warning at all.
FOOD:
The food was actually great.
The portions were a nice size, we didn't leave the building feeling bloated.
The flavours were good and all of the food was cooked well and hot.
INTERIOR:
The table's were too small and quite close to the walls and things, so there was barely any room to breathe.
The lighting was surprisingly good, noted that the shades they had for the light were from B&Q.
The toilet's were awful (speaking of the women's, although I heard the men's was pretty bad too).
The women's was open plan at the top, so as soon as you walked up the stairs you're greeted with two sinks (4 taps). Then you see a door, very close to the sinks with barely any room to move.
If you open this ONE door, there is ONE toilet - yet 4 taps.
The toilet was awful. It was clean, which is fine, but you could barely fit in.
The door was scraping the toilet as you tried to shut it, and getting out was worse than getting in. I practically had to climb onto the toilet to get out!
I also heard that none of the men's taps worked.
VERDICT:
The food at this place was great but dining in wasn't top notch.
If this place does Take-Away I'd definitely recommend it!
Lovely flavours, not worth the hassle.

Photo's from my Nikon :)

Just going to post some pictures that I took the other night when I got my Nikon. They're not of any particular event, I just took them when it was getting towards night time and the moon looked really pretty.
I love this picture because under the moon you can see horses on the horizon. I think it's adorable :')
I love taking photo's of candles.

This photo looks so pretty. We were just sat outside enjoying the hot weather :)

This wallpaper is so cool!

Thought this photo looked pretty awesome - even if it is only stairs.

I'm so proud of this photo. I noticed that the wall had two shadows on it and my camera managed to pick them up really well! I personally think it looks great.

The moon looks lightly more clear and in focus on this picture.

This photo isn't particularly good  quality but the clouds in front of the moon just looked magical.

It's a Yankee Candle. Need I say more?

This chocolate brownie is actually a fridge magnet - IT LOOKS SO REAL!

Wine, Wine & more Wine.

Cheeky snap of me

This is on the balcony outside. I swear it's Dobby?
